We all desire to become good teachers, but it takes time. We have to learn and grow from our mistakes, but it is nice to get some advice every now and then. I love this website because not only is it encouraging, but it offers a ton of informational advice. It explains in detail 10 ways to become the best teacher you can be. The website mentions that “your student can you be a better teacher,” and this is true. Your students will help mold you into becoming the best teacher. A few tips that stood out to me the most were, having a purposeful direction, be a friend but keeping your distance, and be a positive influence. I think these are vital aspects because when you have a purposeful approach, you are setting guides and making sure that your students understand. The friend tip is crucial; students and teachers need to know their boundaries without getting too emotional. Lastly, being a positive influence shows that you care for your students. You always want to make them feel supp...

Are you looking for the best deals on school supplies? If so, here is a website that gives teachers many ways to save when purchasing school supplies. Hip2Save offers school supply discounts at your local stores around you. It mentions about 20 ways on when, where, and how to shop. The site talks about shopping before and after back-to-school shopping because stores will have supplies going on clearance. Shopping at the Dollar Tree because everything is no more than $2 there. You can also join a reward program at Office Depot or Office Max, the programs offer free items, and members can earn their rewards by reviewing products and recycling ink cartridges. Also knowing what you already have is very important so that you don’t buy the same thing twice. I found this helpful website because there are a lot of teachers on a budget, and I believe this can help them. Not only will teachers find this helpful website, but parents will too.

Operation: Organize

So you lost the students graded papers again, and now you have to retrace your steps to find them. One of my biggest fears when I become a teacher is losing the graded papers I spent days on. I know how busy the teacher's life can be, so I came upon a website with 10 easy steps that may help keep your classroom organized. I like this source because it is organized and easy to understand. It is bright and filled with colors. It is also a blog made by a teacher named Linda Kamp, and she has 20 years of teaching experience. Her website provides classroom materials that she creates and sells, ways to properly store items in the classroom, and many other valuable ways to maintain your classroom for your students. She also encourages teachers to show the students how to be organized. Here is her TeachersPayTeachers website, where you can purchase her creative classroom content.

Laugh Now, Cry Later

Are there days you feel like you need a good laugh to keep you from crying? Some days can be challenging in the classroom, so I found a website with some funny jokes to keep the day alive. These jokes are also kid-friendly, so you can share them with the class too. You can also encourage your students to make up their own jokes to pass on throughout your teaching years. Creating a "joke book" or "laugh log" can help you keep a document of the jokes as well. Having some humor in the classroom can create a family-like bond with your students, which is essential. You want to make your students feel loved and welcomed. In addition to this, I also found 5 ways to use humor in a classroom. I found this source helpful because it is a breakdown of using humor in the classroom.

Book There It Is!

If you are a teacher and you need help with the latest books to keep your classroom lit, here is a list of 23 ideas to help you out. I thought this website would be helpful because finding a good book may be hard for some people to do. In today’s era, you might have to go to the library or bookstore, and that might take up a lot of time, which is is why I saved you a trip. All the books on this website are full of variety, adventure, and fun, which should be enough to keep the kiddos interested for a while. Some books talk about different types of bodies, like if someone has prosthetic limbs or vitiligo. There are books that just have pictures for children who sometimes get tired of reading. This website even includes The 1916 Project: Born on the Water, which talks about a student struggling to find her family roots after discovering her family was enslaved and seeing the beauty of her culture. Each book on the page has a picture of it, a short, detailed summary, a...
